Bayou Fish House's new Price Hill location holds grand opening Tuesday | Business

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - Bayou Fish House, the popular Newport eatery, opened a second restaurant, in East Price Hill last week and the place has been packed.  Standing room only crowds and sold out Catch of the Day have been a regular occurrence, leading up to the big ribbon cutting on Tuesday.

The new restaurant, at 3108 Price Ave. (Price and Hawthorne), will have a grand opening and ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 31. It’s the latest development in the rapidly expanding Price Hill Community Entertainment District.

“We’re excited because Price Hill is so excited,” said owner Grant Gieseler. “We’ve never seen a community so involved in the expansion of a business.” 

“The Bayou Fish House is a great addition to our community and another step forward in East Price Hill’s renaissance,” said Ken Smith, Executive Director of Price Hill Will. “We are extremely pleased to have them in the heart of our Incline Business District.

Diana Vakharia, Director of Operations for Price Hill Will, said that Bayou Fish House meets a community demand.  “Both feedback from residents and the data we’ve collected tells us that Price Hill wants and can support more dining options,” she said. “We look forward to more and more businesses taking notice of the opportunity here.”

Restaurant hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. From January 31 through February 4, all orders will be 10 percent off.  The phone number is 513-471-FISH.

“We’re different from the other fish places” Gieseler said.  “We make our fish to order, with our homemade breading.  Our philosophy is, keep a simple menu and be perfect at what we do.”
