Campbell County student hosting fundraiser to support Special Olympics | Community Spirit

ALEXANDRIA, KY (FOX19) - Several Campbell County School student athletes will take part in the "Jocks Helping Jocks" car wash fundraiser to be held in support of the Special Olympics this weekend.

The car wash will be held this Saturday, August 18, from noon to 4 p.m. at the All Seasons Car Wash in Alexandria.

All proceeds will help support the Kentucky Special Olympics.

“We are very proud of our student athletes for giving back to their community during their free time,” said Connie Pohlgeers, Director of School Improvement and Community Education.  “While academic excellence is a top priority in our district, our ultimate goal is to develop well-rounded, compassionate citizens through service opportunities such as this.”
