CRIMESTOPPERS: Armed robbery at store in Newport | Crime

NEWPORT, KY (FOX19) - Detectives have released video of an armed robbery in Newport.

Two suspects entered the A to Z Carryout at 9th and Monroe Streets on July 27 just after 7:30 p.m.

One of the males distracted the clerk while the other went behind the counter.  Both of the suspects were armed and took approximately $60.00 out of the register. 

The unknown males left the store in an unknown direction.
