CRESCENT SPRINGS, KY (FOX19) - Kids raising money for kids - it doesn't get any purer than that! The skaters of the Northern Kentucky Skating Club (NKSC) want to raise $10,000 for Shriners Hospital for Children — Cincinnati.

This is the 2nd annual Skaters for Kids Show at Fountain Square. The show is scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 9 - 10:00 a.m. at the ice skating rink on Fountain Square. It is a family activity for all ages. There is no cost to attend but donations for Shriners Hospitals for Children will be accepted.

The Cincinnati hospital is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. With some of the country’s most experienced plastic surgeons, Shriners Hospitals for Children – Cincinnati treats children with pediatric burns and many non-burn conditions such as cleft lip and palate, brachial plexus, and post-trauma deformities.

“Being able to give back to this hospital means a lot to our young skaters,” said Deirdre Temizer, president of NKSC. “The show gives our skaters a chance to perform the sport they love and at the same time give back to our local community.”
