NEWPORT, KY (FOX19) - Newport on the Levee invites visitors of all ages to a jammed-packed weekend of holiday festivities taking place, December 16 – 18, 2011.

Holiday Aerial Performer, Gallery Building
December 16 – 18
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy the talents of a Cincinnati Circus acrobat as she passes out holiday goodies while suspended from the ceiling.

Dickens Carolers, Riverwalk Level
December 16 – 17
6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Friday)
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.; 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Saturday)
Listen to holiday classics as you tour through the Levee.

Story Time at Barnes & Noble
December 17
12:00 p.m.
Visit Barnes & Noble for story time with Shannon followed by fun crafts.

Strolling Santa, Throughout the Levee
December 17 – 18
12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Visitors should be on their best behavior as Jolly Ole’ St. Nick himself visits the Levee to greet visitors and pass out candy.
Guests may use their own camera to take photos with Santa, but traditional photos with Santa will not be sold.

Rockin’ Holiday Kids Music, Gallery Building
December 17
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Have a seat and sing-a-long to some of your child’s favorite holiday tunes.

Hammered Dulcimer and Celtic Harp Concert at Kentucky Pickens

2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Concert is free and open to the public.

Holiday Sparkle Party and Craft Event at Locomotion on the Levee

2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Sparkle Party is a fun, holiday craft event featuring jewelry, crafts, body care, and other great gift ideas.

Merry TUBACHRISTMAS, Gallery Building
December 17
3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Full Spectrum Art Opening at Art on the Levee

6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Art opening with art pieces from the Cincinnati-based artist group, The Full Spectrum.

Frisch Marionette Company presents “Holiday Punch”, Gallery Building
December 18 – 23
2:00 p.m. each day
Bring the kiddies to a warm and beautiful show full of magical memories.

Light Up the Levee Holiday Light Show, Riverwalk Level
Now through January 2, 2012
Daily shows begin at 6:10 p.m. with the last show beginning at 11:50 p.m.
Be dazzled by more than one million sparkling lights dancing to music every 20 minutes.
