Two-day family festival to be held in Alexandria | Events

ALEXANDRIA, KY (FOX19) - St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Alexandria will be holding a two-day festival on Friday, July 20 from 6 PM to Midnight and Saturday, July 21 from 5 p.m. to midnight.

The Major Raffle will feature three cash prizes totaling $3100.  Booths will include Beat the Dealer, Big Six, Air Mail, Fish Pond, Dunking Booth, Pot of Gold, Battle Royale, and many other booths for both children and adults. 

There will be food for everyone’s taste including grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, pulled pork sandwiches, funnel cakes, ice balls, soft drinks, beer plus many other delicious food items and beverages.

Live entertainment on Friday will be supplied by ‘Decket’ from 7 p.m. to Midnight on center stage. Also, a supervised children's movie will take place in the gym at 8:30 p.m.

Homemade chicken dinners will be served on Saturday in the air-conditioned cafeteria from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Carryout will also be available.

'Night at the Races" will take place on center stage beginning at 8 p.m. on Saturday.

Adults can enjoy Bingo on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the air-conditioned gym.

St. Mary of the Assumption Parish is located at 8246 East Main Street in Alexandria, KY. This festival will be family oriented with something of interest for all ages.
