Club offers more chances to learn golf this summer | Events

WILDER, KY (FOX19) - The Town and Country Sports and Health club is offering a number of courses for different types of people to learn to play golf.  Here are July's classes.

Ladies Instructional Golf Clinics

o     Learn all the basics of golf at this clinic.  Participants will use the driving range, chipping area, putting green and sand trap to work on the strokes of golf.  These clinics are designed for beginners and advanced beginners.

o     Clinic will be held on Tuesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm.

o     Upcoming 4-week session:

•     Session 3: July 12, 19, 26, and August 2 (Registration Deadline: July 10)

o     Cost is $69/person per session.  (Please note: A minimum number of participants is required to have clinic.  Pre-registration is required.)

o     This clinic will take place at Town & Country’s Golf Range. (Located next to Town & Country Sports & Health Club conveniently located right off I-275 at the AA Highway/Wilder exit.)

Youth Golf Camps

o     For ages 7-14.

o     Camp is for beginners to advanced beginners.  All aspects of the game will be covered including the swing, the grip, rules, etiquette, scorekeeping, the drive, long game, woods, irons, short game, chipping, putting, etc.  (Please bring your own clubs, if possible.)

o     Upcoming Camp will be offered:

•     July 11-14, 6pm-7pm (Registration Deadline: July 9)

o     Cost is $89/person per session.  (Please note: A minimum number of participants is required to have clinic.  Pre-registration is required.)
