Newport Fire Dept. receives fire prevention grant | News
NEWPORT, KY (FOX19)- The Newport Fire Department received a special gift on Friday.
FM Global, an insurance company that specializes in loss prevention services, gave Newport Fire and EMS a $1,614 grant.
The fire prevention grant will be used to assist with pre-fire planning to efficiently collect and track data related to local community buildings, which will help fire service response.
