Accident turns fatal after car collides with school bus | News

SILVER GROVE, KY (FOX19)- One woman has died after a crash on Thursday involving a school bus.

According to dispatchers, a Silver Grove, Kentucky high school volleyball team was headed to a game when their bus got into an accident with another vehicle.

A woman in the car, Dawn Mays, was taken to University Hospital for life-threatening injuries and later died.

The collision happened on 4 Mile Road, a few blocks south of Silver Grove School.

No one on the bus was hurt, and school officials say the kids on the bus were able to walk back to the school.

Terry Mays, 29, was a passenger in the car and remains hospitalized.
