KHSAA Region 9 Girls’ and Boys’ Tournament Draw announced | Schools

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY (FOX19) - The Kentucky High School Athletic Association’s (KHSAA) 9th Region Girls’ and Boys’ Tournament returns to The Bank of Kentucky Center for the fourth consecutive year.  The tournament draw was announced Sunday morning, and the following first round matchups are:

·         Monday, February, 27 – Girls’ Quarterfinals

o    St. Henry vs. Holmes at 6:00pm

o    Newport Central Catholic vs. Boone County at 7:45pm

·         Tuesday, February 28 – Girls’ Quarterfinals

o    Ryle vs. Dixie Heights at 6:00pm

o    Notre Dame Academy vs. Highlands at 7:45pm

·         Wednesday, March, 2 – Boys’ Quarterfinals

o    Cooper vs. Dixie Heights at 6:00pm

o    Newport Central Catholic vs. Covington Catholic at 7:45pm

·         Thursday, March 3 – Boys’ Quarterfinals

o    Holmes vs. Boone County at 6:00pm

o    Lloyd vs. Highlands at 7:45pm

The tournament will continue throughout the week as the Girls’ Semifinals will take place on Friday night at 6:00pm and 7:45pm, and the Boys’ Semifinals will be on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm and 3:00pm. 

The Girls’ Championship Game will take place on Saturday night at 7:30pm and the Boys’ Championship Game will be Sunday, March 4 at 1:00pm.
