Representative McKee Visits Highlands Middle School QUEST Students | Schools

FORT THOMAS, KY (FOX19) - Highlands Middle School QUEST social studies students attended a workshop on Feb. 27, on “The Power of Debate.”  In this workshop, State Representative Thomas M. McKee explained the process used in creating and debating legislative bills. 

Students then created their own bills using advice and guidance from Representative McKee.

At the end of the workshop, students were able to debate their bills using the process employed by our state government. In addition, students reviewed and discussed bills that were currently being debated within our state government.
