Highlands earns 10 awards nominations for fall play | Schools

FORT THOMAS, KY (FOX19) - Highlands High School has received 10 Cappies nominations for their fall production of Dividing the Estate. Nominees will be recognized at the end-of-year gala held at the Aronoff Center for the Arts in downtown Cincinnati on Saturday, May 26, at 5 p.m. where winners will be announced.
Here are Highlands’ nominees, who worked under director Jason Burgess.
Marketing and Publicity: Molly Bramble, Nick Sargent, Claudia Trimbach
Sound: Parker Malloy
Comic Actress in a Play: Katherine Castleberry
Comic Actor in a Play: Nick Snider
Supporting Actor in a Play: Max Colvill
Lead Actor in a Play: Will Bardgett
Female Critic: Madeline Gates
Male Critic: Nick Dill, Tyler Felts
Critic Team: Highlands High School Critic Team
The Cappies, "Critics and Awards Program," is a program through which high school theatre and journalism students are trained as critics, attend shows at other schools, write reviews and publish those reviews in local newspapers. At the end of the year, the student critics vote for awards that are presented at a formal Cappies gala.
